Welcome to Sarahs Aode! I’m Sarah Echols, born and raised in California and now abide in Portland, Oregon with my husband and two kids! I love everything about CA, OR, and the Pacific Northwest and learn so much from my surroundings and channel it into my interior design!
Sarah’s Abode Interiors is a boutique(small) firm and works out of a home office in Portland, OR and is delivering you FRESH, BRIGHT + FUNCTIONAL interior/exterior spaces!

At S+A we handle projects that are QUICK easy turnaround that don’t require too many hardscape changes that we can make SING with little demo reno…HOWEVER if your in the market for an entire home makeover we can do that too!!
S+A most common projects include minor updates that could include NEW furnishings, countertops, wallpaper focal wall, painting, and a few minor adjustments. Please reach out so we can customize out design services to your needs!

A NOTTE FROM SARAH
After her experience as a Project Manager in the healthcare field, Sarah has gained the skills needed to oversee an array of projects. This has assisted her well in owning her own design studio with balancing design details and specifications, working with architects and builders, as well as contractors and tradespeople.
Sarah has had the opportunity to work and gain experience in specific trades such as custom built cabinetry design and layout, Auto CAD drafting, window coverings, staging model homes, hospitality design, just to mention a few.
Let’s work together in making our families and homes our main priority by creating a space of fresh, bright + functional! I hope to share my 16 year experience in the interior design field with others by providing a custom space that reflects you!
After living in five different states working in the interior design field I am happy to settle down in the outskirts of Portland, Oregon! I love being a wife and a mom to Max and Gwen and I especially love creating a beautiful home for them!! We live in a multigenerational home, taking care of my parents where I seek to make it a functional, cozy, and a happy home!
A blessing and a curse, my ideas and creativity never turn off so I hope to share that energy with you! I would love to assist you in creating a home that is cohesive, functional and inviting!
